What brought you to Brighton and Hove?
I had a holiday house in Brighton, we came on holiday here. The Persian government took everything from us because we were of Baha’i Faith. The airports were destroyed by Iraq and we never went back home.
What’s your favourite place in Brighton and Hove?
The Pavilion because the Mayor of Brighton invited the Interfaith Committee for a dinner five years ago and a representative of the Queen was there. It was the first time all the faiths were together in the Pavilion. It was really magnificent.
What would your motto be?
Unity, love and caring for each other.
What are you proud of?
I’m proud of my religion because it’s unique, unity between humanity and God and loving each other.
